Colour Mill Water-Soluble Baby Pink evokes rosy children's cheeks and peach blossoms in spring. This water-based food colorant is designed for water-based baking mixtures: royal icing, water-based icing, syrups, meringues, and macarons. It is often used on baby shower cookies decorated with royal icing for a girl, and on cupcakes with cascading rosettes for family celebrations.

Instructions for use
- Shake the bottle before use and mix into a base at room temperature (18 to 22 °C)
- Typical amount: 2 to 4 drops per 250 g for a pastel shade, up to 20 drops for a dark shade
- Mix, then let sit for 15 minutes before adjusting the shade if needed
- To color chocolate or ganache, use the oil-soluble Colour Mill range, not this water-soluble colorant

Can this colorant be used in melted chocolate?
No: this is a water-based, water-soluble colorant. In chocolate or ganache, water causes the fat to seize. For these bases, use the Colour Mill oil-soluble range.
Should I adjust the amount according to the quantity of the mixture?
Yes, the stated amount is for 250 g of base: double or triple the number of drops proportionally for larger quantities.
How should I store the 20 ml bottle after opening?
Seal tightly after each use, store away from light at 15 to 22 °C, and use within 12 months to preserve the pigment intensity.
