Use
| Preparation | Roll out the fondant, sugar paste, or modeling chocolate to an even thickness of approximately 3 mm. |
| Embossing | Place the embosser on the paste and press firmly and vertically to mark the design. |
| Removal | Lift the embosser to reveal the crisp, even debossed design. |
| Finishing | Paint the debossed design with edible paint or leave the paste plain. |

A light dusting of flour prevents the embosser from sticking to sugar paste or fondant.
