Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection oven 160 °C) and grease the pan with release spray.

  2. Prepare 250 g FunCakes Deluxe Sponge Cake Mix according to package instructions. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool on a rack. Make a second sponge cake with the same quantities.

  3. Prepare 200 g FunCakes Buttercream Mix according to package instructions.

  4. Prepare 250 g FunCakes Enchanted Cream Mix according to package instructions. Flavor the enchanted cream with the flavor paste.

  5. Cut each cake into 2 slices with the cake cutter and fill with Enchanted Cream®. Start and finish with a biscuit layer and insert a cake board cut to size in the middle.

  6. Spread a thin layer of buttercream on the outside then refrigerate for 30-45 minutes. Then spread a thicker layer of buttercream and let it set in the fridge as well.

  7. Knead the FunCakes white fondant until smooth and roll it out into a rectangle that wraps around the cake. First cover the sides with this strip. Then roll out a piece of white fondant and cover the top of the cake.

  8. Knead the FunCakes Multipack blue fondants and roll them out very thinly. Make zebra stripes with the wheel cutter. Stick the stripes on the sides of the cake with a little edible glue.

  9. Put the remaining enchanted cream into a piping bag fitted with the No. 1M tip and pipe small swirls on top of the cake. Finally, sprinkle some shark nonpareils on top.
