Steps
-
Prepare 500 g of FunCakes mix for sweet cookies & tart dough following the instructions on the package and add FunCakes speculoos spices to your taste. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C convection).
-
Line the bottom of the mold with an appropriate piece of parchment paper and spray the sides with FunCakes release spray. Knead the dough taken from the refrigerator until smooth, then divide it into two parts. Mix the FunCakes marzipan with ½ to 1 egg until you achieve a smooth consistency.
-
Roll out 1 portion on some flour and line the bottom of the cake pan with it. Spread the prepared marzipan dough on top, leaving about half a centimeter border free. Roll out the second dough and place it over the marzipan dough, pressing the edges lightly. Sprinkle the top with almond bits and bake the cake for about 30-35 minutes until slightly golden and cooked through. Let it cool in the pan.
