Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180° C (160° C convection oven).
-
Prepare 250 g of FunCakes biscuit mix as indicated on the package. Let the dough harden in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Line a square pan with parchment paper and spread the dough evenly. Make sure the dough has the same thickness (approx. 1 cm). Bake the biscuit base for 20 to 25 minutes until golden yellow. Let the base cool in the pan.
-
Melt 300 g of FunCakes Rich Caramel in a bowl according to the instructions on the package and spread it evenly over the biscuit layer. Let set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
-
Melt the 350 g of FunCakes dark Chocolate Melts according to the instructions on the package and pour over the caramel. Let set in the refrigerator for 20 to 25 minutes. Tip! Salted caramel is delicious. Sprinkle some sea salt over the caramel layer before covering with chocolate.
-
Remove the shortbread from the pan once the chocolate has cooled and hardened. Cut the millionaire shortbread into 4 x 4 cm squares with a sharp knife. Serve at room temperature.
