Steps
-
Knead 100 grams of white fondant with the brown gel coloring, then set aside for a moment to let the color absorb well. Roll out the brown fondant and some white fondant, then cut out the ears using a pastry wheel. Make sure the white ears are slightly smaller than the brown ones. Glue the ears together and fold them slightly. Let the ears dry. Tip! Prepare the ears 1 or 2 days in advance to dry thoroughly.
-
Cut a bamboo stick in half for the antlers and cover both with brown fondant. Leave part of the stick visible for easy insertion into the cake. Tip! Prepare the antlers 1 or 2 days in advance to dry well.
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C convection mode).
-
Prepare 250 grams of FunCakes sponge cake mix as instructed on the package. Grease the mold with release spray. Pour the batter into the mold and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Unmold the cake onto a cooling rack and let it cool completely.

Prepare 200 grams of FunCakes buttercream mix as instructed on the package and add orange flavor paste to taste. Cut the cake in half with a leveler, fill it, and cover with buttercream. Place the cake in the refrigerator.
-
Knead 650 grams of white fondant with the brown gel coloring, then set aside to let the color absorb well. Roll out the fondant thoroughly on a flat surface dusted with Magic Roll-Out powder. Cover the cake with the brown fondant. Roll out the white fondant and cut out the eyes using a pastry wheel. Attach them to the cake with edible glue. Use black fondant to make eyelashes by rolling small pieces of fondant between your fingers and then glue them onto the white surface with edible glue.
-
Knead 125 grams of white fondant with the green gel coloring, roll it thinly over Magic Roll-Out powder, and cut out some ivy leaves using the ivy leaf plunger cutter. Mix a bit of white fondant with a small piece of green fondant to get a lighter shade and cut out some additional leaves.
-
Prepare 100 grams of FunCakes royal icing mix as instructed on the package. Put it in a piping bag and cut the tip. Use the royal icing to glue the nose and leaves onto the cake.
-
Insert a toothpick at the back of the cake where the antlers will be placed. Insert the antlers at the back of the cake and fix the ears with royal icing.
