Steps
-
Crumble the cake and add a little melted FunCakes White Chocolate Melts. Knead until you get a firm "dough." DO NOT add too much chocolate, as it would be too soft. Tip! For this recipe, use leftover cake; if you don't have any, you can bake one.
-
Melt the FunCakes Ruby Chocolate Melts and place a large spoonful in the mold. Use a brush to spread the Ruby chocolate inside the mold, focusing on the edges. Make sure to cover the entire surface with no visible spots. Add a little more FunCakes Ruby Chocolate Melts if necessary. Insert the sticks into the mold and place it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
-
Remove the mold from the refrigerator and carefully take out the sticks. Press the cake "dough" into the mold. Be careful not to go above the height of the edges, ideally slightly below. Then reinsert the sticks into the cakesicles.
-
Add a generous spoonful of FunCakes Ruby Chocolate Melts on top of the "dough" and smooth it with a spatula. Place them in the freezer for 15 minutes so they harden enough and are easy to unmold.
-
If needed, reheat the remaining white chocolate and put it into a piping bag. Cut a small opening and drizzle the chocolate in threads over the cakesicles. Immediately decorate with the sprinkle mix. It’s best to do this one by one. Since the cakesicles are frozen, they are very cold, which makes the chocolate drizzle harden quickly.
