Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan oven 160 °C).
-
Prepare 500 grams of FunCakes Cupcake Mix as indicated on the package. Divide the batter into 4 equal portions and color them with the gels in the different colors. Grease the pans with release spray and fill them with the colored batters. Bake the cakes for about 25 minutes then let them cool on a cooling rack.
-
Prepare 400 grams of FunCakes Buttercream Mix as indicated on the package and add lemon flavor paste to taste. Divide the buttercream into 4 portions, which you color with the same 4 colors as the batters. Make sure to keep some plain buttercream to stack the cakes and cover the outside. Fill piping bags fitted with the #1M tip with the different colors of buttercream. Start from the bottom. While turning the cake stand, pipe a wide stripe all along the cake. Make two overlapping stripes for each color. Use the last color to also cover the top of the cake.
-
Let the cake chill in the refrigerator so the buttercream can harden.
