Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and grease two cake pans with the release spray.
-
Prepare 1 kg of FunCakes Cake Brownie Mix according to package instructions and evenly divide the batter into the pans. Bake the brownies for about 45-50 minutes and let them cool in the pans for one hour before transferring to a cooling rack.
-
Prepare 300 g of FunCakes Buttercream Mix according to package instructions and flavor it with FunCakes Cream Crunch Black Cookie Spread. Place the buttercream in a piping bag fitted with the No. 1M tip.
-
Once the brownies have cooled, horizontally slice each in half using the leveler to get four equal layers. Pipe small swirls of buttercream on the first layer, then place the next brownie layer on top. Repeat the process for all layers, inserting a cut dowel in the center of the cake for added stability. To prevent the swirls from sagging, let the cake rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes between each layer.
-
Once the cake is filled and ready, finish by piping small swirls of buttercream all around the top edge. Separate a few Oreo cookies, remove the cream inside, crumble the cookies, and sprinkle the crumbs over the swirls. And there you have it - your Oreo Brownie Cake is ready to impress!
