Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180° C (convection oven 160° C).
-
Prepare 250 g of FunCakes cookie mix according to the package instructions. Let the dough firm up in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Line a square pan with parchment paper and spread the dough over it. Make sure the dough has an even thickness (about 1 cm). Bake the biscuit base for 20-25 minutes until golden. Let the base cool in the pan.
-
Melt 300 g of FunCakes Rich Caramel in a bowl according to the package instructions and spread it evenly over the biscuit layer. Let set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
-
Melt 350 g of FunCakes Chocolate Melts Dark according to the package instructions and pour it over the caramel. Let set in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes. Tip! Salted caramel is delicious. Sprinkle some sea salt over the caramel layer before covering it with chocolate.
-
Remove the shortbread from the pan once the chocolate has cooled and hardened. Cut the millionaire shortbread into 4 x 4 cm squares with a sharp knife. Serve at room temperature.
