Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 150 °C (convection oven 130 °C).
-
Prepare 300 grams of FunCakes macaron mix according to the package instructions. Add the pink food coloring. Fold in gently with a spatula.
-
Place the mixture into a piping bag fitted with the no. 12 tip and pipe 40 uniform circles onto the macaron mat. Let rest in a dry place for at least 1 hour so that a thin crust forms. Bake the macarons for 15-20 minutes. Remove them from the baking tray and let cool on the cooling rack.
-
Bring the whipping cream to a boil in a saucepan, remove from heat and add 150 grams of melting chocolates. Stir until there are no lumps. Let the ganache firm up in the refrigerator until it reaches a chocolate paste consistency. Fill a piping bag with the ganache, cut the tip, and place a bit of ganache on half of the macaron shells. Then press the other half of the shells onto the ganache.
-
Melt 25 grams of melting chocolates in the microwave. Fill a piping bag with the melted chocolate and cut the tip. Decorate the macarons with the chocolate and nonpareils. Place the macarons in the refrigerator for at least one day before serving.
