Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C) and grease the cake pan with Bake Release spray.
-
Prepare 1 kg of FunCakes Cupcake Mix according to the instructions on the package. Gently pour the batter into the greased pan and bake the cake for about 45-50 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool almost completely before turning out onto a cooling rack.
-
Prepare two times 150 g of FunCakes Enchanted Cream® Mix according to the package directions. Add the Aroma Paste to taste.
-
Trim the edges of the cake with a sharp knife to make them straight. Then, cut the cake in half lengthwise and use a cake leveler to slice each long piece horizontally into two.
-
Place two long base cake layers end to end and spread a layer of Enchanted Cream® on top. Arrange some blueberries halved on the cream. Place the second cake layer on top.
-
Cover the outside of the cake with Enchanted Cream®. It is not necessary to have a perfectly smooth surface; a slightly rustic appearance is sufficient.
-
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts according to the microwave instructions. Cut the flower stems to the desired length and dip the ends into the melted Deco Melts. Let harden in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes.
-
Decorate the cake as desired with the flowers. Creating different heights with the flowers adds a charming and rustic touch to the cake. Do not just stick cut flowers directly into a cake! Always dip the ends into melted Deco Melts or chocolate to prevent a bitter taste from the flowers.
