Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 160 °C (140 °C for convection oven).
-
Prepare 500 grams of FunCakes Deluxe Moist Cake Mix according to the package instructions. Grease the pans using the release spray. Color the batter pink with the pink food coloring gel. Divide the batter between the two pans and bake the cakes for 30 to 35 minutes. After baking, place on a cooling rack and let cool completely.
-
Prepare 400 grams of FunCakes Buttercream Mix according to the package instructions. Add white chocolate flavor paste to taste. Cut each cake into two layers using the cake leveler, fill the layers with blueberry jam and the buttercream of your choice, then stack them. Place the cake on a cake board then on a turntable, cover the entire exterior with buttercream and smooth with the side scraper. Manually attach colored sugar sprinkles around the bottom edge of the cake. Refrigerate for one hour.
-
Put the remaining buttercream in a piping bag fitted with the No.1M tip. Separately add the three colors of Deco Melts to three different dishes and melt them in the microwave at a maximum of 450 W. Stir occasionally. When melting is almost complete, remove from microwave and mix by hand until smooth.
-
Pour the mixtures into three separate piping bags and cut a small opening. Take the cake out of the refrigerator and let the Deco Melts drip down the edge of the cake. Because the cake is cold, the icing sticks immediately and hardens quickly.
-
Make 8 high tufts on top of the cake with the buttercream, sprinkle with colored sugar sprinkles. Place a truffle on each tuft.
