Steps
-
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts dark chocolate flavor as instructed on the package.
-
Coat the inside of the heart-shaped mold with the melted Deco Melts then refrigerate to set. Repeat this process three times to create a solid layer. Let the Deco Melts cool to a paste-like consistency and transfer to a piping bag. Cut a small tip and fill the cavities of the mold. Insert a candy cane stick and sprinkle FunCakes mini marshmallows around it. Refrigerate to set.
-
Reheat the remaining Deco Melts in the microwave until fully melted again.
-
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the two types of sprinkles into separate bowls.
-
Carefully remove the hearts from the mold and dip the bottom in the melted Deco Melts. Immediately dip the coated bottom in the sprinkles then place the hearts vertically on the parchment paper to dry. This will happen quickly as the coating is thin and the hearts are cooled.
-
Attach a FunCakes sugar decoration to the candy cane stick using a small amount of melted Deco Melts.
