Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for convection oven) and place the liners in the muffin pan.
-
Prepare 250 g FunCakes cupcake mix as indicated on the package and fill the liners with batter. Bake the cupcakes for 20-23 minutes until lightly browned. Let them cool on the countertop.
-
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts as directed on the package, then using the rounded side of a teaspoon, spread the warm Deco Melts in the ice pop mold and insert a lollipop stick. Let harden in the refrigerator. Repeat this step 2 more times to create a firm shell.
-
Melt some FunCakes white Melts as directed on the package. Crumble a few cupcakes and mix the crumbs with the melted white Melts until a moldable dough forms. Shape balls with this dough and press them into the ice pop mold. Make sure the dough does not extend beyond the edge of the mold. Fill the back of the mold with melted Deco Melts and let harden again in the refrigerator.
-
Carefully unmold the cakesicles and place them on a sheet of parchment paper. Melt more Deco Melts and put them into a piping bag. Cut a small opening and pipe zigzags over the cakesicles. Immediately decorate with sugar decorations and nonpareils.
