Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C for fan ovens).
-
Prepare 750 grams of FunCakes cupcake mix according to the package instructions and add some cookie flavor paste to the cupcake batter. Grease the cupcake mold with baking spray and distribute the batter into the mold. Bake the cupcakes for 60 to 70 minutes. If the cake starts browning before it is fully baked, cover it with a piece of aluminum foil and continue baking. This way, the cake will cook without browning too much. Then let the cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack.
-
Prepare 400 grams of FunCakes buttercream mix according to the instructions and add vanilla flavor paste. Divide the buttercream into 7 portions and color them with the FunColours gels. Keep one portion uncolored.
-
Spread a thin layer of buttercream on the bottom of the cupcake to fill holes and level the surface. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes then cover with white fondant.
-
Attach the cupcake top to the bottom part with a little buttercream. Fit tip no. 1M into the piping bags and fill them with buttercream. Pipe a line of rosettes in one color, starting from the bottom of the top part. Repeat, changing color with each row up to the top. Keep the cake in the refrigerator until use to allow the buttercream to harden.
