Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C convection oven).
-
Prepare 500 grams of FunCakes gingerbread mix according to the instructions on the package. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for one hour and roll it out on a floured work surface to a thickness of 1 - 1.5 cm. Cut out a heart measuring 15 - 20 cm in diameter from the baking paper. Cut the hearts from the dough and bake them in the center of the oven for 15 minutes until golden yellow, then let them cool on the cooling rack.
-
Mix 250 grams of powdered sugar, 5 grams of egg white powder, and 30 ml of water at low speed until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Insert the nozzles into the piping bags and fill them with the icing. Decorate the hearts as you wish, using nozzle #003 for dots and nozzle #018 for the scalloped edge.
