Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for convection oven) and grease the pan with baking spray.

  2. Prepare 150 g FunCakes Deluxe Sponge Cake Mix according to the instructions on the package. Pour the batter into the pan and bake the sponge cake for about 30-35 minutes. Let cool on a cooling rack.

  3. Prepare 200 g FunCakes Buttercream Mix according to the package instructions. Flavor the buttercream with the Lemon Meringue flavor paste and color it light green with the food gel color.

  4. Cut the biscuit 2 times with the leveler and fill and spread the buttercream all around. Let rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.

  5. Cover the cake with green marzipan and smooth well with the smoothing tools.

  6. Melt the FunCakes yellow Deco Melts in a bowl in the microwave according to the instructions. Spread with a pastry brush in the mold. Let harden in the refrigerator and repeat 2 or 3 times. Carefully unmold the bunnies. Smooth the edges of the bunnies on a warm plate and stick them directly to each other. With a small brush or a toothpick, paint a black eye on the bunnies with the melted Deco Melts. You can also tie a ribbon around their neck if you wish.

  7. Put the remaining green buttercream into a piping bag fitted with adapter and No. 233 tip. Decorate the entire top of the cake with grass blades. Place the Easter bunny with some small chocolate bunnies on the cake, then decorate with sugar eggs and FunCakes sugar flowers. If enough buttercream remains, also decorate the lower edge with grass, eggs and flowers.
