Steps
-
Prepare 500 g FunCakes cookie mix according to the instructions on the package, wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour to firm up.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection 160°C).
-
Knead the dough taken from the refrigerator and roll it out on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 2-3 mm. Cut out several rabbits and tulips. Cut a slit in the tulips so they can hang on the edge of a cup. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes until they are lightly golden. Let cool on the work surface. TIP! Make sure your dough is not too warm. Your cookies might not hold their shape well during baking. You can place the tray with the cookies in the refrigerator for 15 minutes then put them directly in the oven. This way, they will keep a nice sharp shape and will not spread.
-
Knead the fondant and roll it out to a thickness of 1-2 mm. Cut out the rabbits and use a small cookie cutter from the set to make a hole. Attach the fondant to the cookies with a little decorating gel. Sprinkle some nonpareils or sugar sprinkles in the center.
-
For the tulips, use the embossing mold and also cut a slit in the fondant. Attach it with a little decorating gel onto the cookies.
