Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for convection ovens).
-
Prepare 250 g FunCakes Deluxe sponge cake mix according to the package instructions. Grease the cake pan with the non-stick spray and place a strip of parchment paper inside the pan. Pour the batter into the pan and bake the sponge in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Let cool on a cooling rack.
-
Prepare 500 g FunCakes cupcake mix according to the package instructions, distribute the white cupcake cases in the muffin pan, and use the ice cream scoop to portion the batter. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for about 18-22 minutes and let cool on the work surface.
-
Prepare 225 g FunCakes enchanted® cream mix according to the package instructions and flavor it with the FunCakes flavor paste.
-
Cut the sponge 2 to 3 times with the cake leveler and fill all around with the enchanted® cream. Let set in the refrigerator for half an hour.
-
Melt the FunCakes blue and white decoration chocolates separately in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions, then pour the two colors on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drag a spatula through the colors to marble them. Immediately sprinkle the blue and white pearls as well as sugar strands, then let set in the refrigerator. Afterwards, break into coarse pieces.
-
Color the fondant with the baby blue coloring gel, roll it out on a work surface dusted with magical rolling powder to a thickness of about 3 mm, and cover the cake with it.
-
Warm a little FunCakes Dip ‘n Drip mix in the microwave for 5-10 seconds and dip the cupcakes in it. Immediately sprinkle with sugar strands and let dry.
-
Put some Dip ‘n Drip into a piping bag, cut the tip, and let the icing drip down the edge of the cake. Tip! You can test on an inverted glass to check if your drip flows well. If the drip flows too fast, let it cool for a moment. If it hardly flows, warm it a few seconds in the microwave.
-
Put some enchanted® cream in a piping bag fitted with the #1M nozzle and decorate a pretty swirl along the edge of the cake, sprinkling some sugar strands on top. Push some decoration chocolates into the cake and place cupcakes on top.
