Steps

  1. Prepare 500 g of Mix for Crispy Spelt Biscuits according to the instructions on the package. Use a flat hook to mix. If you wish, add a handful of FunCakes Chocolate Chips or Chunks into the dough or some speculoos spices for a surprising biscuit.

  2. Shape the dough into a long roll about 5 cm in diameter, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for one hour. You can freeze the dough for later use. Wrap it in plastic wrap, it will keep for 3 months in the freezer.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C in convection mode) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  4. Cut slices about 1 ½ to 2 cm thick from the roll and place them on the tray, leaving enough space between the biscuits as they will spread. If necessary, bake in two batches if you cannot fit them all on the tray at once. Bake the biscuits for 19 to 22 minutes until golden. You can also freeze the baked biscuits. Place them in a ziplock bag and they will keep for 3 months in the freezer. Let them thaw at room temperature.
