Steps
-
Prepare 500 g FunCakes cookie mix as indicated on the package. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for convection ovens).
-
Knead the dough taken from the refrigerator until smooth, then roll it out on a work surface sprinkled with FunCakes magic powder to a thickness of 2-3 mm and cut out circles. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake the cookies for about 10-13 minutes until fully cooked. Let the cookies cool flat on the work surface. Depending on the thickness of the dough, a longer baking time may be necessary.
-
Knead the FunCakes shiny white sugar paste until smooth, then roll it out thinly on a work surface dusted with icing sugar. Cut circles the same size as the cookies.
-
Heat the jar of apricot jam in the microwave and strain it through a sieve by pressing with the back of a spoon. This will create an apricot glaze to apply on the cookies. Brush the cookies with this glaze, then place the sugar paste on top.
-
Decorate the cookies with the ready-to-use icing pens by creating flowers, shapes, swirls, or even personalized messages.
