Steps
-
Prepare 400 g of FunCakes Special Edition Dark Chocolate Cake Mix with 1 egg, 125 g of cold butter cut into cubes, and the chocolate chunks. Knead until you get a firm dough. Tip! You can also make the cookies with the Cupcake Mix for a vanilla variation. Follow the same preparation method but use 400 g of FunCakes Cupcake Mix, 125 g of butter, and 1 egg.
-
Place a sheet of cling film on the work surface and form a long log about 5 cm in diameter with the dough, then wrap it tightly in the film. Put it in the fridge for 2 hours to firm up.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven 160°C).
-
Cut the dough into thick slices about 2-2.5 cm and place them on the baking sheet spaced sufficiently apart, as the cookies will spread during baking. Bake the cookies for about 13 to 17 minutes; they should remain soft after baking. Let them cool on the work surface.
