Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 150 °C (convection oven 130 °C) Macarons are a true French tradition. By making these lovely bee-shaped macarons, you add your personal touch. Easy and delicious to prepare.
-
Prepare 300 grams of FunCakes macaron mix according to the package instructions. Color this dough in dark yellow with yellow and orange food colorings.
-
Place the mixture in a piping bag fitted with nozzle size 12. Place the macaron mat on a baking tray and pipe the dough onto it. Let dry in the open air for 2 hours for optimal results, then bake the macarons in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Let them cool completely on the mat.
-
Prepare 125 grams of FunCakes buttercream mix according to the package instructions. Fill a piping bag fitted with nozzle size 12 with the buttercream.
-
When the macarons are cooled, draw stripes and a face using the black food pen. Knead the modeling dough well and roll it out very thinly. Cut as many shapes with a medium rose leaf cookie cutter as you have macarons. Slightly pinch the tip and glue it onto the macaron with edible glue.
-
Place a dollop of buttercream on the lower half of the macaron and close with the other half. Refrigerate until use.
