Steps
-
Prepare 500 g of FunCakes Cookie Mix as directed on the package, adding a touch of FunCakes Spiced Cookie Flavoring. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for one hour.
-
Briefly knead the chilled dough, then roll it out on a floured surface to a thickness of about 2-3 mm. Cut pairs of Christmas tree shapes. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate the tray for 30 minutes.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for convection ovens) and bake the cookies for about 8-12 minutes until lightly golden. Let them cool on the countertop.
-
Lightly brush the cookies with apricot jam. Knead the fondant until smooth, roll it out to a thickness of 1-2 mm and cut matching Christmas trees. Attach the fondant trees to the cookies and assemble them to stand upright.
-
Use edible glue to attach the pearls and snowflakes to the trees, finishing with a large golden snowflake on top.
