The FUNCAKES Round Cake Dummy, made from high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS), recreates the shape of a cake tier without using real sponge cake. Its 7 cm height is particularly suitable for low or transition tiers in a multi-tiered cake, as well as small practice supports. Not edible, it can be covered with fondant, icing, or ganache just like a real cake.

Can you stack several 7 cm Round Cake Dummies?

Yes, by inserting support rods between each tier to stabilize the structure. The low profile works well for tiered cakes with many small tiers.

How do you attach sugar paste to this support?

Lightly moisten the surface with a brush or apply a thin layer of edible glue. Roll out the sugar paste to 3 to 4 mm thick, place it on top, then smooth from top to bottom with a smoother.
