Piping Tip #2C
Wide closed-star piping tip for structured piping and decorative borders
The Colour Mill #2C Piping Tip is made of stainless steel and works with all disposable and reusable piping bags, with or without a coupler. Its wide closed-star profile creates deep rosettes and well-defined ridged borders, a classic pattern for festive baking.
Professional-grade food-safe stainless steel: the piping tip retains its shape under pressure, does not deform over time, and is dishwasher-safe for intensive use.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our tips
Is this piping tip suitable for both stiff and soft creams?
It creates the best definition with a cream that holds its shape when lifted on a spatula: not too soft (the pattern will collapse) and not too stiff (the opening will partially clog).
Can it be used for royal icing on cookies?
Yes, for decorative rosettes around cookies or cake pops, using stiff icing.
How do you clean the grooves without leaving residue?
Rinse immediately after use in hot, soapy water, scrubbing the grooves with a small brush, then put it in the dishwasher if needed.
