No. 125 stainless-steel piping tip, large roses and ruffles
Large petal piping tip for piped roses, ruffles, and draping on entremets.
The Azucren No. 125 piping tip is a stainless-steel petal tip with a narrow beveled opening at one end and a wide one at the other. It pipes petals that are thin at the base and open at the top. Larger than the No. 102, it is designed for generous amounts of cream: piped roses, ruffles, draping, and ribbon borders on entremets and layer cakes.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
What cream should I use with a petal piping tip?
A medium-firm buttercream: soft enough to pass through the slit, yet firm enough for the petal to hold its shape. Well-chilled whipped ganache also works.
Do I need a specific piping bag for this size?
A 40 to 46 cm piping bag is recommended to fit the tip and a comfortable amount of cream.
What is the difference between the no. 102 piping tip and this one?
The slit on the no. 125 is longer: taller petals, fuller ruffles, and fewer passes to cover a cake tier. The no. 102 is suited to miniature flowers and cupcakes, while the 125 is suited to entremets and layer cakes.
