Knead the dough well before use and roll it out on a thin layer of icing sugar for optimal application. It is also suitable for coloring with food colorings. For a custom shade, let it rest for 1 hour after coloring (covered), then knead again.

To cover a round cake of 20 cm diameter, count about 500 g of sugar paste.

Usage advice

1. Let the fondant reach room temperature.

2. Knead until you get a smooth and elastic dough.

3. Roll it out to 2 to 3 mm thickness using a rolling pin on a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar.

4. Turn it regularly to prevent sticking.

5. If cracks appear, knead again.
