Is Deep Green coloring oil-soluble, like coloring for chocolate?
No. It is a water-soluble liquid coloring (water- and glycerin-based): it is suitable for buttercream, icing, fondant and ganache, but does not mix with couverture chocolate or pure fat. To color chocolate, use an oil-soluble powder coloring.
What is the maximum recommended dosage for Deep Green?
The maximum recommended usage level is 9.5 g/kg; adjust gradually using the dropper tip to control the color intensity.
Does Deep Green require any special precautions?
