FUNCAKES Donut Mix makes a dough that can be cut into shapes and deep-fried for classic donuts or baked for a lighter version. One 500 g packet makes 12 to 24 donuts, depending on the size.

Step-by-step preparation
- Make sure the ingredients are at room temperature.
- Mix 500 g of mix, 215 ml of water, and 65 ml of vegetable oil using the dough hook.
- Roll the dough out to about 5 mm thick and cut out the donuts.
- Let rest for 25 minutes before baking.
- In a deep fryer: fry at 180 °C for about 90 seconds on each side, until golden brown.
- In the oven: bake in a donut pan at 200 °C (180 °C fan-assisted) for about 12 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter straight after baking or deep-frying, before glazing or decorating.
