Lemon Yellow is a highly concentrated yellow lemon gel food coloring from the Hungarian brand Fractal, packaged in a 30 g squeeze tube. A single color is enough to achieve a vivid lemon yellow, with two dosage levels depending on whether it is used throughout the mixture or on the surface.

Why are there two different maximum dosages?
The filling dosage (3.7 g/kg) applies to a mixture colored throughout; the higher decoration and coating dosage (6.5 g/kg) concerns surface application, where dilution in the finished product is lower.
How can you avoid a dull yellow?
Mix the gel into an already white base rather than an already colored mixture: tartrazine E102 loses intensity against a yellowish or beige background.
Does it pair well with the other Fractal shades?
Yes, especially with Orange Fractal for a warmer yellow, or Grass Green Fractal for lemon-green tones.
