Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
How can I prevent the fondant from cracking when covering a cake?
Knead the fondant for 2 to 3 minutes to soften it before rolling it out. Roll it out to a thickness of 4-5 mm on a surface dusted with powdered sugar, then smooth from the center toward the edges without trapping air bubbles. If it cracks, smooth it with your finger and a drop of water.
Is this blue multipack suitable for a marine or nautical theme?
Yes, the gradient from white to Denim Blue via Sea Blue works just as well for baby showers for boys as for marine and nautical themes.
How much cake can this multipack cover?
Approximately 500 g in total for a 20 cm diameter round cake, or several small items and cupcakes, using the 5 shades as needed.
