Frequently asked questions
Your questions, our advice
Is wafer paper really edible?
Yes, absolutely. Made only from potato starch and water, it digests like any other starch-based food and dissolves in the mouth in seconds.
Can several sheets be layered for a thicker decoration?
Yes, by lightly moistening the contact surface between two sheets, pressing gently, then leaving to dry for about 30 minutes.
When should you place a wafer paper decoration on the cake?
As late as possible, ideally within the hour before serving, as moisture from the icing or cream gradually softens the wafer paper.
