How do you assemble the three pieces on the unicorn’s head?
Demold and let each piece dry separately, then attach them to the separately shaped head using a little water or edible glue, depending on the paste used: ears on either side, horn in the center of the forehead, and eyelashes above the eyes.
Which paste is best for the horn, the thinnest piece?
Flower paste (gum paste), which is sturdier than fondant, holds the horn’s twisted shape better after demolding and dries without sagging.
