Easily make delicious sponge cakes with a firm and airy texture with this FunCakes preparation. Ideal as a base for any chocolate cake (the Black Forest, for example).
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C). Ingredients should be at room temperature. Put the mixture, eggs and water in a bowl. Blend on high speed for 7-8 minutes. Then mix on low speed for another 2-3 minutes. Pour the batter into a buttered baking dish (1/2 to 2/3 full). Put the cake in the oven and do not open the door while baking! The cake is ready when it feels springy. Release the cake immediately after baking and let it cool on a cake rack.
Ingredients: sugar, wheat flour , skimmed cocoa powder (5%), wheat starch , emulsifier: E472b (palm), E477 (palm), malted barley , glucose syrup (dehydrated), baking powder: E500, E450, skimmed milk powder , burnt sugar, thickener: E415.
